Dr. Bruce Marko began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Creighton University. His undergraduate studies provided a strong base in human anatomy, physiology, and scientific research—core elements that continue to influence his clinical approach today.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska, where he developed a growing interest in surgical techniques and patient-centered care.
Following medical school, Dr. Marko completed his residency training at ORMC. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on experience in surgical procedures and patient management, working alongside experienced physicians in a high-volume clinical environment.
This period was instrumental in shaping his technical abilities and reinforcing the importance of precision, efficiency, and patient safety.
To further refine his focus, Dr. Marko pursued advanced fellowship training in hair transplantation in Orlando. This specialized program allowed him to concentrate exclusively on modern hair restoration methods.
Through this experience, he developed expertise in techniques such as FUE and gained a deeper understanding of hair growth patterns, graft handling, and aesthetic planning.
